Turkmen athlete Kerim Hojakov entered the world top ten free-style wrestlers in the weight category up to 61 kg according to the updated rating of the «United World Wrestling» international organization.

Turkmenistan gained the 8th position of the world ranking after a successful performance in international tournaments, earning in the aggregate 16 points. So, the athlete won a bronze medal at the «Memorial Yashar Dogu-2020» Tournament in January.

The first line of the rating in this weight category was taken by an athlete from Georgia, the second place – by a Russian athlete, and the third place – by a wrestler from India.

Now, Kerim within the national team is preparing for the Asian Championship to be held in India in February, as well as license tournaments Tokyo-2020.
