A solemn meeting to cheer up the Turkmenistan national futsal team took place in the assembly hall of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport on January 15, 2020. Lecturers of the Institute, officials of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy, members of public organisations and representatives of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan attended the meeting.

The national team was represented by Head coach Robert Grdovic and the players Vatan Ataev, Gurbangeldy Sahedov and Dayanch Garajaev. The sportsmen and their coach assured those present that they would make every effort to successfully perform at the prestigious tournament – the 2020 AFC Futsal Championships in Ashgabat.

The Healthy Generation music group from the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport presented their music during the meeting.
