The World Jiu-Jitsu Championships are taking place these days in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The Turkmenistan team consisting of three athletes and a coach is performing in the competition.

A good news had come from Abu Dhabi. A second-year student from Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports Sayara Avezmetova, who performs in the 48 kg weight category, won a gold medal.

The scale and prestige of the international tournament speaks for itself; over 450 athletes from 42 countries from all over the world are competing for medals.
