A referee Rob Diapering broke his ankle during a match of the Netherlands Football Cup, but continued the game, Fox Sports reports.
The incident happened during the second round match of the qualifying tournament between Quick Boys FC and Katwijk FC.
When the score was 2:2, the referee unexpectedly stopped the match and asked to call a doctor. The ankle of the 31-year-old referee was frozen, and he continued the match.
The match ended in the victory of Katwijk FC 3:2 in extra time; the decisive goal was scored in the 101st minute.
