As part of the President of Turkmenistan's large-scale initiatives to promote a healthy lifestyle and to organize meaningful summer leisure activities for the younger generation, the Happy Summer 2026 interregional competition in active and digital sports was held at children's health centers in Gokdere.

The Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports and the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports organized this large-scale sporting event. The competition took place on the sports grounds of the Muhammetmyrat Niyazov Children's Health Center of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan. The tournament program was extensive and catered to the interests of children of all ages. Children competed in phygital dancing (ages 8-10), phygital football, 3x3 basketball and running (ages 10-12), table tennis, and tug-of-war (ages 12-14), and also demonstrated their skills in checkers, which has no age limit.

Regular events like these are crucial for the harmonious development of young people. They not only provide children with vibrant experiences during their holidays, but also foster team spirit, cohesion, and a desire for athletic victories.
