Athletes of the national team of Turkmenistan took part in an international freestyle wrestling tournament among cadets and juniors held in Bukhara (Republic of Uzbekistan) and won 3 gold, 4 silver, and 8 bronze medals.

In the competition, which brought together 180 athletes, the gold medals were won by Kerem Orazmammedov, Abdyrahman Bekiev, and Hemra Khalmyradov. Silver medals were awarded to Seyithasan Eshrepov, Danil Fomin, Iskander Kakovov, and Abdurahman Azizov. Bronze medalists included Khalylmuhammet Komekov, Osman Gurbanov, Ismail Khojaev, Azymkhan Mammetgulyyev, Ebubekir Ataev, Osman Ataev, Meretmuhammet Atagurbanov, and Pirmuhammet Byashimov.

Notably, all wrestlers are students of grades 1–9 from schools in Ashgabat, which is a distinctive feature of the national team.
