The National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag, visited the Olympic Complex of the capital, where he familiarized himself with the preparations of the Olympic Stadium for the upcoming international football match. At present, FC Arkadag, established on the initiative and through the efforts of Hero-Arkadag, is preparing for the AFC Champions League Two Round of 16 matches against Al Nassr Club from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, The TDH reports.
Hero-Arkadag reviewed the facilities of the largest Olympic Stadium in Central Asia, with a seating capacity of 45,000 spectators, which will host the forthcoming crucial match of FC Arkadag, successfully competing on the international stage.
After thoroughly inspecting the stadium’s overall infrastructure, including the condition of the playing field and spectator stands, Hero-Arkadag emphasized that the optimal resolution of all current issues is a top priority. No detail should be overlooked. He stressed the need to approach the organization of the upcoming match with the utmost responsibility, given its great importance for enhancing the country’s sporting prestige.
The organized conduct of the football match and the creation of all necessary conditions for fans and spectators were identified as key objectives. At the same time, it is important to coordinate the activities of all involved structures and to responsibly address the issue of broad media coverage of the forthcoming match.

The Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan, D. Orazov, reported on the full readiness of the stadium’s football field for the tournament in accordance with international standards and modern requirements, noting that all conditions have been created for hosting international competitions at a high level and for comprehensive training of athletes.
During the off-season, the stadium’s football field is covered with a special polyethylene coating, which helps maintain it in proper condition. Hero-Arkadag emphasized the importance of maintaining all sports facilities of the Olympic Complex and the Olympic Stadium field in compliance with generally recognized international standards.
Hero-Arkadag also highlighted the importance of ensuring high-quality coverage of the upcoming international football match, which will take place in 10 days, organizing an appropriate promotional campaign, and creating all conditions for the effective work of foreign media. In this regard, a number of recommendations were given to the responsible officials.
