Dear compatriots!

The year 2025 – the International Year of Peace and Trust – is coming to an end, and very soon we will celebrate the New Year, 2026.

According to the Eastern calendar, the coming year is the year of the Horse, that is, the steed. The Akhal-Teke horses, which are our pride and heritage, are associated with the aspirations and great aspirations of the Turkmen people.

The year 2025 has become one of the most significant in the modern history of the independent Motherland, namely, great achievements in the lives of our citizens, the embodiment of significant initiatives by the National Leader of the Turkmen people. This year, programs aimed at the development of the Motherland and a significant improvement in the standard of living of the population have also been successfully implemented. At the same time, new districts were formed for the socio-economic development of the sovereign state.

Along with this, schools, kindergartens, medical institutions, sports facilities, cultural institutions, industrial facilities and many other facilities were opened throughout the country. All of them meet modern requirements. Thousands of happy families celebrated a housewarming party.

As for the fuel and energy complex, major projects have been implemented in this sector. Thus, the oil loading berth of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries has been commissioned. With the participation of Hero-Arkadag, the laying of the key link of the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India gas pipeline to the Afghan province of Herat, the Serhetabat–Herat section, called Arkadag's bright road, was launched.

In addition, a factory for the production of ceramic products "Baherden" was opened in the Baherden district of the Akhal region, a workshop for the production of glass products was opened in the capital, a water treatment plant in the Esenguli district and an automobile bridge over the Lake Karabogaz were opened in the Balkan region.

At the same time, the construction of a production complex for the production of mineral fertilizers in the structure of the Turkmenabat Chemical Plant of the Lebap region, a carbamide production complex in the Turkmenbashi district of the Balkan region, as well as a highway along the Turkmenbashi–Garabogaz–border of Kazakhstan route was launched.

At the same time, the construction of the "Guneshli" Center for Children and Youth has begun in Ashgabat.

This year, new villages were opened in the Akhal region of our country in a solemn atmosphere: "Dewletli mekan" in the Ak Bugdai district and "Bagtly zamana" in the Kaahka district, and in the Kunyaurgen district of the Dashoguz region – the modern village of Bitarplyk.

The second stage of the Arkadag city is being systematically built, and the construction of villages and residential buildings meeting the requirements of the time continues in the country. All this clearly demonstrates the successful implementation of the motto "The Motherland is the Motherland only with the people! The state is a state only with the people!"

The reforms we are implementing in the agricultural sector are also marked by success – dedicated farmers have successfully fulfilled their contractual obligation by handing over more than 1 million 400 thousand selected wheat grains to the state. The harvest is a source of abundance and prosperity for our native people, our sovereign Homeland!

We will continue to take effective measures to economically stimulate rural workers and strengthen the material and technical base of the industry.

Significant work is also being carried out in the oil and gas, transport, communications and trade complexes of the country, which make a worthy contribution to the achievements of the sovereign Motherland.

Dear Turkmen citizens!

Taking care of the health of the people and ensuring their happy life and well-being is a priority of our state policy.

Last year, the construction of multidisciplinary hospitals was launched in Ashgabat and the city of Tejen in Akhal region, as well as a Maternal and Child Health Center in Dashoguz, Dashoguz region.

We will continue to take measures in the field of human health protection.

Effective reforms have also been implemented in the fields of science and education. Thus, a new academic building of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, a complex of buildings of the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, as well as many other educational institutions were opened.

We are doing a lot to attract the younger generation to sports on a large scale and significantly increase the prestige of our country in the global sports arena.

This year, the Galkynyş Group of National Equestrian Games was awarded the Grand Prix at the Monte Carlo International Festival. The Arkadag football team also won an international tournament, which increased the sporting prestige of the Motherland in the world. In short, our athletes performed successfully and, as a result, won prizes in world-class competitions.

We will continue to take measures to develop sports in our country.

We are carrying out extensive work to develop national culture, protect and popularize our heritage. In the International Year of Peace and Trust, Ashgabat was included in the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, and the Art of Breeding the Turkmen Alabai was included in the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

In the past year, various international cultural events were regularly held, including Culture Days, and in the coming year we will hold a high-level Culture Week in the Balkan province.

Dear compatriots!

This year, at the initiative of our country, the United Nations General Assembly adopted by consensus a resolution on the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan. This event once again demonstrated the consistency of the policy of neutrality.

Numerous international events were organized on the occasion of the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of the Turkmen State. For example, the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries was held at a high level in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. As a result, the United Nations General Assembly unanimously adopted the Resolution "Avaza Political Declaration".

At the same time, at the initiative of our country, the United Nations General Assembly adopted by consensus Resolutions "The United Nations Decade for Sustainable Transport" and "The key role of reliable and stable energy connectivity in ensuring sustainable development."

The International Conference "The Role of Women in Modern Society: Development of international Cooperation towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals", held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, is also of great importance. As a result, the final document was adopted.

The most important event of the glorious year was an International Forum held at a high level on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality. As a result, the Ashgabat Declaration was adopted. The Forum has significantly increased the authority of our country as a peace-loving state.

In order to further develop the Motherland, we have declared the coming year 2026 "Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the birthplace of purposeful winged horses."

In the new year, which we celebrate with bright dreams and hope, we will celebrate the 35th anniversary of our sacred independence, and we will continue to work hard to transform our Homeland into a land of happiness and prosperity.
