An olympiad in the subject of informatics was held, organized by the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, with the participation of 11th and 12th-grade students from secondary schools. This olympiad consisted of three stages, and students from five regions took part. A student of the 11th grade from our “Olimp” secondary sports school, Ymammuhammet Purmyradow, successfully passed two stages and earned the right to participate in the third, state-level stage.

This is clear evidence that our student-athletes excel not only in sports but also in academic subjects.

The participation of our school students in such olympiads is a vivid result of the tireless care of esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for the younger generation. It also reflects the consistent reforms implemented in the science and education system and the constant attention given to raising well-rounded, intellectually and spiritually developed, and patriotic youth. These achievements are among the first concrete outcomes achieved in the International Year of Peace and Trust.
