The Turkmenistan national volleyball team clinched their first victory in the ongoing Central Asian Nations League held in Islamabad.

After a defeat in the first round in a hard-fought five-set match against the Iranian team – 2:3 (25:23, 25:21, 16:25, 23:25, 17:19), our compatriots confidently won against the Kyrgyzstan team – 3:0 (25:19, 25:22, 25:21).

The tournament is being held under the auspices of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA). Six teams are participating in it – the national teams of Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Turkmenistan.

The competition will conclude on May 17th.
