On April 1-6, Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports will host the phygital tournaments and an Open Doors Week. Participants in the games will be university students and schoolchildren from all over the country.
The tournaments will take place at the multifunctional sports complex of the Faculty of Olympic Sports.
Phygital sport is an innovative multi-sport event that combines the physical and digital elements of competitions. The term comes from the fusion of the words physical and digital. The same team compete first in a physical environment and then in an esports event.

The first-ever international multi-sport tournament was held in Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation) from February 21 to March 3. 2,000 athletes aged from 12 to 62 years took part in the tournaments.
