The final stage of the Kurash Wrestling Championship of Turkmenistan has been recently held at Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

The close competition revealed the winners in all weight class events. Serdar Babamuradov from Charjev Etrap, Lebap Velayat, won the first place in the 60-kilogramme weight class event. The students of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports Dovlet Hemrakulyev and Ilyas Muhammedov triumphed in the 66-kilogramme and 73-kilogramme weight class events respectively. Mekan Pardabayev, a representative of the Milli goşun sports club of the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan, had no equals in the 81-kilogramme weight class event. Ylham Kemalov, a student of Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, and Emin Omarov, a student of Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, became the winners in the 100-kilogramme weight class event.

The champions received the letters of honour and prizes.
