The young athletes who attend the Olympic Water Sports Complex have recently competed in the tournament ‘Healthy Youth – Bright Future of the Country’. Swimmers of different ages demonstrated their skills at the tournament.

Bezirgen Rejepov, a disciple of the coach Bezirgen Annayev, won the men's freestyle swimming event at the 50-metre distance. Arzuv Ahmedov (coached by Mahri Nurmuhammedova) took the second place, and Davut Nurmuhammedov (coached by Muhammet Annamuhammedov) entered the top three. Rustem Merishev (coached by Arslan Merishev) triumphed in the 50-metre breaststroke event. Hezret Tejenov (coached by Mahri Nurmuhammedova) became the runner-up, and Nurgeldi Atayev (coached by Batyr Agabayev) took the third place. Kirill Sevinyan (coached by Muhammet Annadurdyev) triumphed at the same distance in the butterfly stroke event. Shazada Atageldiyev took the second place, and Ahmet Tuvakgylyjov (coached by Mahri Nurmuhammedova) entered the top three.

The disciples of Mahri Nurmuhammedova successfully competed in the long-distance backstroke event. Rahim Ahmedov took the first place, Begench Atageldiyev became the runner-up, and Guvanch Begniyazov entered the top three. Hanaly Soyunov (coached by Muhammet Annagulyev) also won the second place.

The competitions encouraged the young athletes who attend the Water Sports Complex to prepare for the upcoming large tournaments and develop into professional swimmers who will enhance the international sports prestige of the country.
