The Turkmen Alabay dog Ak Dost (White Friend), presented by the President of Turkmenistan to President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in 2021, became the champion of the Russian Kynological Federation in the Central Asian Shepherd Dog category.
This news was presented by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty (People’s Council) of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a meeting with the heads of Arkadag City, the Turkmen Alabay Dog Association and the International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association.
On January 15-17, the winners of the championships of the Russian Kynological Federation were announced in Kazan, and the winner in the Central Asian Shepherd Dog category is the Turkmen Alabay dog Ak Dost, the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty said.
Emphasising that the judges highly evaluated the Alabay dog for the exterior and intelligence, Hero-Arkadag presented the certificates for the Alabay dog – the champion of the Russian Kynological Federation to the heads of the Turkmen Alabay Dog Association and the International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association.
