On August 5 the opening ceremony of the II CIS Gameswas held, where the audience had a unique opportunity to see one of the largest events in Belarus. They saw the parade of athletes from the participating countries and the hoisting of flags by Belarusian Olympic champions, looked at innovative technologies and unusual artistic solutions.
The sporting event was accompanied by mass choreographic performances from each of the 23 countries and original musical compositions that set the tone for the entire celebration. I was amazed by the quantity and quality of lighting equipment and other equipment.
The spectacular end of the ceremony was the lighting of the symbolic fire of the Second CIS Games, which was entrusted to the young gymnast – Alexandra Zubovich, winner of the republican competitions in rhythmic gymnastics. She was accompanied by Anastasia Salos, winner of the World and European championships in rhythmic gymnastics, international master of sports, and Yury Rybak, head coach of the national sambo team of the Republic of Belarus, multiple European and world champion in sports sambo.
