The national sports tournaments entitled «Biz Oguzhan Nesli» have been organised during the summer months of the year «Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Achievements». These sports competitions were organised by the sports and recreation centre of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy and the Ashgabat branch of the Turkmenistan Youth Physical Culture and Sports Organisation.
The sporting events took place at the Cynar recreation centre in Gokdere.
Children challenged each other in Turkmen national sports. The tournaments brought together children born in 2005-2007.
The Altyn Yyldyz recreation centre took the first place, the Cynar recreation centre took the second place and the Demiryolcy recreation centre took the third place.
These tournaments aim to promote physical culture and sports, as well as to foster pride in the national heritage among children who spend their summer holidays at recreation centres throughout the country.
