On May 9, the first quarter-final matches of the Turkmenistan Football Cup took place.
A match between Kopetdag and Arkadag in Ashgabat ended with the victory of the guests (1:5). Nebitchi lost to Altyn asyr (1:0) in Ashgabat. Shagadam lost to Ahal (1:4) in an away match. Merv was stronger than Ashgabat in the home match (3:1).
The return quarter-final matches of the of the Turkmenistan Football Cup will be held on May 20.
