Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports hosted an award ceremony dedicated to the winners of the sports tournaments ‘Turkmenistan – the Home of Health and Inspiration’. The ceremony has become an important event in the sports life of the country. The performances of musical groups, students, and young athletes of the Ashgabat Main Department on Physical Culture and Sports created a special atmosphere at the ceremony.

As is known, the sports tournaments ‘Turkmenistan – the Home of Health and Inspiration’ were launched to promote the development of the mass physical culture, the Olympic movement and high-level sports in the country. The sports tournaments ‘Turkmenistan – the Home of Health and Inspiration’ were successfully held in the year ‘Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar’ of the revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.

The team of Ashgabat won the first place, the team of Mary Velayat took the second place, and the team of Lebap Velayat entered the top three at the tournament held in 9 sports for students of the secondary schools of Turkmenistan. The teams of Ashgabat Construction Secondary Vocational School, Ashgabat Railway Transport Secondary Vocational School and Ashgabat Agro-Industrial Secondary Vocational School formed the top three at the tournament held in 12 sports for students of the technical and secondary vocational schools. The team of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports won the first place, the team of Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute took the second place, and the team of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan entered the top three at the Universiade held in 23 sports for students of the institutions of higher education. The team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan triumphed at the tournament held in 10 sports for military and law enforcement workers. The team of the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan won the second place, and the team of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan took the third place. The team of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan successfully competed and won the first place at the final stage of the tournament held in 8 sports for employees of the ministries and departments. The team of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan took the second place, and the team of the State Committee on Statistics of Turkmenistan entered the top three. The teams of Ashgabat, Lebap and Ahal Velayats formed the top three at the tournament held in 9 sports for the teams of the regions and Ashgabat.

Special prizes were awarded to the winners on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan. The ceremony became a real festival of sports.
