March 20, 2023. The talks between President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Emir of the State of Qatar was a success. This top-level meeting vividly illustrated the readiness of the parties to give a powerful impetus to fruitful relations built on the existing positive experience of interaction and great prospects.
The President of Turkmenistan and the Emir of the State of Qatar exchanged views on a wide range of issues of Turkmenistan-Qatar partnerships and specified approaches to boosting effective cooperation in various fields. The interlocutors focused on expanding humanitarian contacts, particularly in the spheres of education, healthcare, science and culture.
The emphasis was placed on the expediency of establishing a close partnership in youth policy, social sphere, tourism and sports.
