The final matches and the victory ceremony of the Women's Handball Championship of Turkmenistan, jointly organized by the State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Office in Turkmenistan, were held on March 15 in the year ‘Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar’.

This national tournament organized within the framework of the Joint Programme of the United Nations and the government of Turkmenistan was very important in revealing the skills of female athletes. The close event became a unique test for the women. The matches promoted excellence and skills and lifted the spirits of the athletes. The handball fans attended those matches and supported the teams to add the excitement to the tournament. Obviously, as the main aim of the competitions is to identify the winner, the matches of the third day of the Women's Handball Championship of Turkmenistan determined the winners of the tournament. Thus, the fair decision of the judges revealed that the team of Ashgabat triumphed in the Women's Handball Championship of Turkmenistan. The team of Balkan Velayat became the runner-up. The team of Lebap Velayat entered the top three.

The winners were awarded special prizes and letters of commendation from the State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan and the United Nations Office in Turkmenistan.
