Altyn Asyr FC clinched the Super Cup of Turkmenistan for the eighth time in its history.

Altyn Asyr FC (Ashgabat) and Shagadam FC (Balkan Velayat) met in the match for the Super Cup of Turkmenistan held at Nusay Stadium.

Kerim Hojaberdiyev (Shagadam FC) scored an opener in the 3rd minute. In the 32nd minute, Myrat Annaev scored an equalizer after a penalty kick. The first half of the match ended in a draw. In the 67th minute, Yhlas Toyjanov scored for Altyn Asyr FC, and Altymyrat Annadurdyev scored another goal for the team in the 76th minute. The match gathered a large number of football fans and ended with the victory of Altyn Asyr FC – 3:1.
