A Turkmen wrestler Muhammet Kossekov is a world sambo champion in the under 64 kg category, the International Sambo Federation reported on its official website.
An Azerbaijani sambo wrestler Elvin Bagirov ranked second. Maxim Manukyan (Armenia) and Sardor Olimjonov (Uzbekistan) ranked third in their weight categories.
The World Sambo Championships will end on November 13, 2022. The strongest sambo wrestlers from more than 50 countries of the world are performing at the tournament.
