The quarterfinal first legs of the Turkmenistan Football Cup have taken place recently.

The Turkmenistan Cup 2022 started with a quarterfinal match at the Nusay Stadium in the capital city, in which Ahal defeated 2-1 Merv.

On the home field, Energetik (Mary velayat) failed to deal with the 2021 Cup winners Shagadam, who beat the hosts 3-1.

Kopetdag took a strong-willed victory over Ashgabat in the derby in the capital city. The match at the Kopetdag Stadium ended up with a score of 3-2.

Altyn Asyr secured a win against Nebitchi. The match ended up with a score of 4-0.
