These days, the Turkmen athletes are competing for medals of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, which are taking place in the Turkish city of Konya. A representative of the Turkmenistan Judo Centre stood on the podium of the judo tournament.
Hekim Agamammedov, who competed in the under 66 kg category, won a bronze medal in tough competition with the representatives of Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Bahrain and Turkey and his compatriot Serdar Rahimov.
The 5th Islamic Solidarity Games will last until August 18.
