Real Madrid have won the UEFA Super Cup for the fifth time in its history. The current Champions League winners beat Eintracht 2:0 at the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki (Finland).

The UEFA Super Cup is played between the winners of the Champions League and the Europa League. Real Madrid defeated Liverpool 1-0 to win the 2022 UEFA Champions League title.  Eintracht Frankfurt  won the UEFA Europa League after beating Rangers 5:4 in a penalty shootout (1:1; 5:4 in the penalty shootout).

In total, 24 teams have won the Super Cup. Italian Milan, Spanish Barcelona and Real Madrid that won 5 trophies each in different years share the record for the most victories.
