Sports fans all over Turkmenistan were happy to know that the crews from Turkmenistan are the winners of the Silk Way 2022 Rally-Raid and the national team won the medals of the Junior and Youth Asian Weightlifting Championships.

The victorious performance of the Turkmen sportsmen once again testify to the great attention paid by the President of Turkmenistan to sports.

The award ceremony of the winners and prize-winners of the international tournaments and festive events took place in Avaza. The ceremony continued with the sports demonstrations.

The sports demonstrations of weightlifters and rhythmic gymnasts and a match of the Turkmenistan Futsal Championships took place at the sports games complex in Avaza.

The Turkmenbashi open sambo and freestyle wrestling championships was arranged at the martial arts complex. An open goresh championships was held as part of the Balkan velayat junior championships.

Sports fans watched with great interest the swimming and diving competitions at the aqua sports complex. The competitions concluded with a water polo match.

A friendly hockey match took place at the winter sports complex.
