Struggling for the clean sport

The National Anti-Doping Agency of Turkmenistan takes effective steps to prevent and combat doping in the sport of our country in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan ‘On Doping in Sports’, the Code of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the International Standard for Education (ISE). Moreover, the National Anti-Doping Agency of Turkmenistan conducts educational seminars for athletes, coaches and sports experts to explain the dangers of doping for health, the rights and obligations of athletes, the list of substances and methods prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), as well as the anti-doping rules and the doping control procedure.

The Outreach quiz, developed by the World Anti-Doping Agency, was held at the Gökje Sports Complex in the frameworks of the Youth and Junior Sambo Championships of Turkmenistan organized by the National Martial Arts Federation of Turkmenistan on July 15–17. The Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy and the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan sponsored the quiz.

The athletes who answered 9-10 questions correctly were awarded the T-shirts on behalf of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), the Regional Anti-Doping Organization of Central Asia (RADOCA) and the Asian Anti-Doping Foundation (AADF).
