The Gokdere Cup tournament under the motto “Berkarar Dowletin Sagdyn Nesilleri Biz!” took place at the Yaslyk children’s recreation centre.
The sporting events in volleyball, basketball, futsal, table tennis, swimming, chess, drafts, duzum, tug-of-war and track and field athletics among children born in 2004-2010 were held.
The Yaslyk children’s recreation centre took the first place, the S. A. Niyazov children’s recreation centre took the first place and the Nesil children’s recreation centre took the third place in the competition.
The organisers of the tournament are the sports and recreation centre of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy, the Ministry of Education and the Central Council of Magtymguly Youth Organisation. The representatives of the organisation awarded diplomas and valuable gifts to the winners.
