The children’s tennis festival marking World Health Day and the 30th anniversary of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan closed in Ashgabat, www.ttf.gov.tm reports.

Children and teenagers competed in 5 age categories during 3 days, from April 14 to April 16. In total, 150 children and teenagers took part in the tournament, and the winners received prizes from the organizers.

All children, regardless of a skill level, could try themselves as tennis players, take part in master classes and competitions and receive memorable prizes and souvenirs from the organizers in the second part of the event, held in the format of an open lesson. The sports festival attracted more than 300 young citizens of the capital of Turkmenistan.

The festival was organised by the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan jointly with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Turkmenistan.
