The 31st Summer Universiade will be held in Chengdu, People's Republic of China from July 28 to August 8, 2023.
About 5,000-6,000 athletes from about 110 countries are expected to take part in the 31st Summer Universiade.
Athletes will compete in 18 sports, namely badminton, judo, athletics, table tennis, swimming, shooting, archery, taekwondo, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, basketball, diving, volleyball, fencing, tennis, water polo and wushu.
About 15 athletes from Turkmenistan will take part in the Games competing in archery, swimming, tennis, judo and wushu.
