A friendly women's volleyball tournament was organized in the sports complex of the Astrakhan State Medical University (ASMU), in which the Aykhan volleyball team from Turkmen students studying in universities of this Russian region took part.

The competitions were held at the initiative of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan (Russian Federation) and were confined to the month of mass sports and recreation and sporting events traditionally held in our country.
