On April 23, 2020, various celebrations dedicated to the National holiday of the Turkmen horse were held in the administrative center of the Lebap province - in the city of Turkmenabat.

In the morning, in the conference hall of the Lebap velayat library in Turkmenabat, the ceremony of presentation of the book of the esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “The Horse - a Symbol of Faithfulness and Happiness” in Arabic, German and Turkish languages took place.

The ceremony was attended by members of the government, heads of the ministries and departments, heads, teachers and students of higher educational institutions, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions and representative offices of international organizations working in Turkmenistan, representatives of local and foreign media.

In their speeches, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Turkmenistan N.Hofer-Wissing, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Turkish Republic to Turkmenistan Togan Oral, Charge d’Affairs of the UAE in Turkmenistan Abdulaziz Al-Hashimi and others noted that in the book, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that interest in the Akhal-Teke horses, which are the unique cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, is growing all over the world, and the number of people wishing to grow our “heavenly” horses is increasing.
