Turkmenistan Futsal League has kicked-off in Ashgabat. Eight teams representing the country’s ministries, departments and banking institutions attend the championship.
The game between the Kopetdag team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Olympus team of the Specialized School of the Olympic Reserve of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of the country has opened the league. The Kopetdag futsal team won 7-1.
For the first time, the female referees – Aygozel Bayramova and Halida Eshniyazova – were invited to judge the games of the Futsal League of Turkmenistan. They are completing the careers of players in the Mary region team, and now they have the opportunity to continue to do what they love, but as judges. Athletes underwent special training in the Football Federation of Turkmenistan and passed the relevant standards for physical training.
In the future, having accumulated solid experience and knowledge, they will be able to apply for the title of “judge of the international category” and serve matches at the highest levels. The Football Federation of Turkmenistan would try to continue to involve as many referee female as possible, as it would contribute to the further development of women’s football in the country.
The Futsal League, the games of which to be held in the cities of Mary, Dashoguz and Turkmenbashi as well, will last until October of this year.
